From 21 to 24 May, the Career Festival 2026 took place at VDNG. It was a large-scale event that brought together educational initiatives, employers, youth organisations, career counsellors, students, and everyone interested in learning, professional development, and career planning.
The following have joined the festival National Europass and Euroguidance Centres and National Coordinator for Eurodesk in Ukraine. For four days, the teams welcomed visitors at stand A17 and provided information and guidance on education, professional development, and mobility opportunities within Ukraine and across Europe.
Our colleagues from National Erasmus+ Office in Ukraine, who advised visitors on opportunities for international cooperation, study and participation in Erasmus+ programmes.
Many visitors showed great interest in the Europass platform and its tools for learning and career development. During the festival, the team provided guidance on creating a Europass CV, completing a Europass profile, building a digital skills portfolio, and using the platform to access educational and professional opportunities. For many visitors, this was their first introduction to Europass and its practical tools for career planning.
Questions related to career guidance and career counselling, presented by Euroguidance, were also very popular. Visitors wanted to know how to identify a suitable career path, where to find up-to-date information on education and skills development, and how to adapt to the changing labour market. These discussions provided an opportunity not only to offer practical advice but also to talk about the challenges young people and young professionals face when building their careers today.
At the same time, Eurodesk informed young people about international mobility opportunities, youth exchanges, volunteering programmes, and other international initiatives.
Career Festival 2026 once again demonstrated the strong interest in education, professional development, and career planning. Over the four days, the event attracted 99,156 visitors. A total of 302 companies and organisations participated, including employers, educational institutions, representatives of the public and non-governmental sectors, business education providers, career guidance specialists, and career counsellors.
The festival programme included 274 events attended by more than 4,000 participants in person and over 3,300 participants online. More than 700 school pupils and students joined guided tours organised by the festival, while around 2,000 visitors took part in the “Career Flight” quest. Another important activity was the express interview sessions, which involved 452 participants and resulted in 216 interviews.
Events like this provide an important platform for communication, knowledge sharing, and raising awareness of educational and career opportunities. For the Europass, Euroguidance, and Eurodesk teams, participation in the festival was not only an opportunity to present their initiatives but also to better understand the current needs of young people and professionals.
We would like to thank the organisers of Career Festival 2026 for creating a space for dialogue and cooperation, and all visitors for their openness, interesting questions, and interest in learning, development, and international mobility opportunities.
