🌍 Professional development without borders: an inspiring experience

From 13 to 16 April 2026, an international study visit took place in Prague within the framework of the Academia 2026 project of the Euroguidance network, on the topic:

"Contributions of regional projects to the development of career guidance systems".

The study visit was organised as part of the NC4UA project.

Ukraine was represented by Zlata Tiahunova — a career and HR consultant, ambassador of the National Europass and Euroguidance centres, and co-founder of the NGO “Ukrainian Institute of Career and Guidance”.

🎯 The aim of participation was not only to exchange experience, but also to explore European approaches to career guidance and counselling — from regional models and counsellor training to modern tools and working methods. An important component was also establishing international professional contacts and identifying solutions that can be adapted to support the development of the career guidance system in Ukraine.

The programme was intensive and practice-oriented, and included:

an overview of the career guidance system in the Czech Republic

exploration of regional practices and cooperation models

an introduction to key institutions and organisations

approaches to training career counsellors

career portfolio tools

innovations in education

activities of professional communities

career guidance within employment services

🌐 Representatives from six different countries, including Ukraine, took part in the study visit, creating a strong environment for exchanging experience and ideas.

The participation format included:

international professional mobility

presentations and thematic sessions

webinars delivered by partner institutions

job shadowing

professional discussions

reflection sessions

This was not just a trip — it was a step towards strengthening the career guidance system in Ukraine through the integration of European experience and best practices.

📌 As a result of the study visit, valuable insights and ideas for developing the field of career guidance in Ukraine have already been generated.

🔜 Key conclusions and recommendations will be published soon.
