🌍 In April 2026, Ukraine was represented by Zlata Tiahunova – a career and HR consultant, ambassador of the National Europass and Euroguidance Centres, and co-founder of the NGO “Ukrainian Institute of Career Guidance and Counselling” – who took part in the international mobility programme Euroguidance Academia 2026 held in Prague (Czech Republic) within the framework of the NC4UA project.
🇨🇿 The theme of the mobility programme – "Contributions of regional projects to the development of career guidance systems: the Experience of the Czech Republic" – became an important platform for professional exchange, the exploration of European approaches, and the search for effective solutions for the development of the career guidance and counselling system in Ukraine.
📚 The programme covered a wide range of topics, from the functioning of career guidance and counselling systems in the Czech Republic and the training of career counsellors to innovative educational practices, career portfolio tools, the activities of professional communities, and the work of employment services.
🤝 Of particular value was the opportunity to gain first-hand insight into regional models of cooperation between educational institutions, employment services, career centres, and employers. The participation of representatives from six countries created a productive international environment for exchanging experience, professional dialogue, and establishing new partnerships.
📌 As a result of participation in the mobility programme, a separate practical material has been prepared, summarising European approaches and practices in the field of career guidance and counselling presented during Euroguidance Academia 2026.
🧭 The material addresses issues related to the development of lifelong guidance, the professionalisation of career counsellors, the role of schools in developing career management skills, regional career guidance models, cross-sectoral cooperation between education, employment services and employers, as well as support for vulnerable groups during professional integration and career transitions.
💡 Particular attention is given to practical tools and approaches that may be adapted to the Ukrainian context, especially in terms of developing career education, training specialists, strengthening local partnerships, and creating accessible career support services for different target groups.
👥 The material may be useful for career counsellors, educators, representatives of career centres, employment services, local authorities, employers, civil society organisations, and everyone involved in the development of career guidance systems in Ukraine.
